Exif Explorer was born from a simple observation: every digital photo contains a hidden story, but accessing this information was either too technical or compromised user privacy.
In 2023, our founder a web developer and privacy advocate grew frustrated with existing metadata tools. They either required uploading sensitive images to unknown servers or demanded technical expertise that most users didn't have.
